Peter Clements

Peter Clements (tenor) has been an architect and lecturer for several years at the University of Huddersfield in the north of England. At the same time he pursued his career as a singer, he sang thirty operatic roles in various opera houses across the UK. These included the title roles in Idomeneo, Hoffmanns Erzählungen, Andrea Chenier and Otello. Alfredo, Duke of Mantua, Manrico, Riccardo and Radames in the Verdi repertoire and the well-known Puccini roles such as Rodolfo, Cavarradossi, Rinuccio and Calaf - he sang many of the standard tenor roles. His French repertoire includes Nadir in Les Pecheurs de Perles and Don José in Carmen. He later began to sing professionally and worked with the Leeds Opera House, Opera North. After sang Turridu in Cavalleria Rusticana, he made his debut with Canio, his first role in Düsseldorf.
