Yvonne Prentki
Yvonne's musical education started with piano lessons at the age of 7, and later she began classical singing training at 14 years with Anja Paulus. She studied opera singing and pedagogics of singing at the Higher School of Music, Theater and Media in Hannover, under the tuition of Prof. Gudrun Pelker. Yvonne has been Academist with the RIAS Chamber Choir in Berlin.
She participated in masterclasses with Jagna Sokorska-Kwika, Krisztina Laki, Peter Berne, Roman Trekel, Roberto Accurso, Ricardo Estrada, Helmut Deutsch and Helen Donath.
Aside from musical theater Yvonne became highly interested in 'Lied' and 'Oratorio'. During her studies she participated in many opera projects for children. This time was highlighted by her work at the Opernloft Hamburg and the theater in Osnabrück.
In 2013 Yvonne won second place in the International Giulio Perotti competition, achieved 2014 the Semifinals in the International Ernst Haefliger Competition in Switzerland, and in the German National Singing Competition. She is a stipendiate of the Richard - Wagner Society.
In 2014, Yvonne debuted as Queen of the Night in Mozart's “Die Zauberflöte” and as Prinzess Sidi in Kuhlau's “Lulu, or Die Zauberflöte” at the city theater in Hildesheim.
In 2015 she sung the role of the bob in Viktor Ullman's "The Emperor of Atlantis" in Dijon.
In the season 17/18 Yvonne is contracted for A. Reimann's opera “Ein Traumspiel” and as Morgana in Handel's Alcina at the theater in Hof.
