Nico Laruina

Born in Italy, Nico Laruina showed a passion for music and arts since a very young age.

 

The italian baritone studied in Italy and London and now in Germany where he works mainly with Christian Halseband and Felice Venanzoni on voice and repertoire.

 

Latest roles include Lescaut in Puccini's Manon Lescaut with Brent Opera (London), Colline in Puccini's Boheme and Angelotti in Puccini's Tosca with Mediterranean Opera Festival (Italy), Figaro in Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro at the Estate Theater in Prague, again Angelotti with Everybody Can Opera (London) and Leporello in Mozart's Don Giovanni in Teatro Comunale in Vicenza. In July 2020 Nico will make his debut as Papageno in Mozart's Magic Flute and Dulcamara in Donizetti's Elisir D'amore.

 

Nico has worked and had masterclasses with some of the greatest musicians from around the world including Kamal Khan, Felice Venanzoni, John Nardolillo, Jonathan Santagada, Leonardo Catalanotto, NadineBenjamin, John Tomsinlon, Nelly Miricioiu, Benjamin Zander, Chris Crans and Stefano Vignatí.

 

Nico divides himself between his passion for music and an international career as Manager in top companies such as L'ORÉAL, Reckitt Benckiser and Nestle.
