Jaqueline Bruce

The American soprano Jacqueline Bruce is an internationally sought-after interpreter in the fields of opera, oratorio and chamber music.

She began her career as a member of the Stuttgart State Opera, where she sang Aloysia in Reinhard Keizer's Masaniello furioso, Servilia (La clemenza di Tito) and Euridice in Monteverdi's L'Orfeo. She also sang Micaëla (Carmen) with the St. Petersburg Opera Company of Florida, Donna Elvira (Don Giovanni) at the Martina Arroyo Foundation, Norina (Don Pasquale) at the Taconic Opera, Juliette (Roméo et Juliette) at the Opera Company of Brooklyn , Flora Bervoix (La Traviata) at the Tampa Opera, Eurydice (Orphee et Eurydice) at the Festival Lyrique-en-Mer, Rosalinde (Die Fledermaus - Concert) at the New York Lyric Opera, Nedda (I Pagliacci) at the Festa Lirica Italiana, and Barbarina (Le nozze di Figaro) at the Opera Company of Philadelphia.

In the summer, Jacqueline Bruce made her debut as Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte) at the Festa Lirica Italiana NYC and sang 'Ein Deutsches Requiem' by Brahms with the Philharmonia Orchestra of New York.

Jacqueline Bruce can also be heard on a recording (Naxos) of the opera 'Tony Caruso´s Final Broadcast' by Paul Salerni. She also received first prize at the Classical Singer Magazine Competition 2010. Jacqueline Bruce was also honored as the star of Morgan von arte, who also did a portrait for television.
